"Says the guy who grew up in a circus."

That was adventurous enough for most people. The cliche was for kids to run away to it to get some adventure right?

Newt watches the tail's owner then tail itself. It was going to be ages before he was bored with it.

[penitently]

The tip flicked idly, sort of swaying in Newt's lap and occasionally touching a thigh. "Ah, true. Perhaps that is why I enjoy them so much. A little of home, only on a different setting. The open sea. Would you not like to swing from a mainsail and shiver some timbers?" He wasn't wearing his jacket, or his vest, just a button up shirt and colorful pants, adjusted so that his tail could leave it comfortably.

Newt dug the style. He looked like he grew up in a circus. Other than the blue and tail and everything.

"... How do you shiver timbers anyway?"

That was a weird saying and one he'd be rolling around in his head for a few days as a passing thought. The tail was intimate but comfortable and... Newt kinda liked it.

[penitently]

"I... am not entirely certain. I believe it is in reference to making someone shake so much, their skeleton is shivered?" What? It made sense to him that way. Sort of. But as the movie started, he leaned back a bit, uncertain of how much more he should do -- or what he was allowed.

Newt casually threw his arm around Kurt's shoulders once he was close enough. This wasn't usually how he went about with trying to sleep with people. Or date them for that matter. But, nothing was set in stone. He could deal with, and kind of preferred, this sort of bromance developing with romance.

"Sayings are weird."

He was mildly distracted. This was pretty good, considering the time.

[penitently]

"They are. It would likely make more sense if one was from that time, since it would be obvious for that era. Much like some popular sayings can seem strange when said in other eras." He felt the eat of Newt's arm over his shoulders and he smiled. He was smiling rather widely, actually, and he felt a little silly for it.

But his tail was quite happy to flex a little, shifting so that the tip started to creep around Newt's waist instead.

Newt was unfortunately oblivious to the cute. His thumb did draw little circles around Kurt's arm while they sat and watched. He even managed to stay mostly silent.

Unless something funny happened like bad graphics or editing. Black and whites had their strengths, sure. Pacing was usually better and the jokes somehow funnier but man did they have their downfalls.

A few moments later and Newt would be relaxing more into Kurt.

This was... nice. Not entirely what he'd expected, but then, he hadn't really been sure what to expect. The movie had him smiling, as did the little circles he could feel being traced on his arm by the man beside him. His tail had decided it was happy to tuck itself around Newt's waist and Kurt was happy to let it, enjoying the feel of him relaxing against him, feeling as if he was being trusted with something.

Don't mock his movies, Newt. They might have to tussle over that.

Okay, c'mon, Kurt. Even you'd have to giggle at that mishandling of that right there.

"Have you ever heard of Mystery Science Theater 3000?"

His hand idly moved to Kurt's tail to stroke it. It was there. His hands couldn't keep still. Sure, it was a little intimate but whatever. He'd already started touching - tracing along it.

[penitently]

"Ah..." Kurt was a little distracted, eyes half closed as he felt the little shivers skimming up through his spine from those simple touches. He'd never really had anyone else play with his tail before. He knew there were a few sensitive spots, but on the whole, someone stroking it like that... was... awfully nice. And distracting. And a little bit more than that, making him shift just a bit where he sat.

Wait what? That wasn't an answer?

Newt leaned forward a little and caught That look in Kurt's eye. Oh.

OOOH.

He remembered something like this happening before! The first time they met. Now Newt wasn't going to stop. His finger traced all the way to the tip and then started grazing along the outside of the point.

[penitently]

He might have been able to just enjoy it like a cat being petted -- if Newt hadn't trailed up to the spade tip. The flexible, hand-like part of his tail was surprisingly sensitive, the light touches and grazes over the tip making him shiver much more noticeably, then open his eyes and look over at Newt because surely the man knew what he was doing...

Oh he fucking know what he was doing alright. He knew it and kept doing it. and smiled innocently at Kurt when they locked eyes.

When they did, Newt lightly dragged his nails down the center of the spade. Just to see what he'd do.

[penitently]

What he did was curse in German, a word Newt might be familiar with, then turned quickly to grab the teasing, distracting, wonderful man and lean in to steal a kiss. His tail wrapped around the wrist of the hand teasing him, tugging it closer to his body as his hand went to the back of Newt's neck.

Movie? What movie...?

HOKAY so Kurt had the talk with his mind, apparently. His mind seemed to have given the all clear. He gave a muffled noise of surprise when they started kissing that was getting a lot hotter a lot faster than usual.

Newt was way more than okay with this circumstance. The tail around his wrist was not cool, however. He was in the middle of something. Newt took it upon himself to redirect his hand to Kurt's chest. You can let go now, tail. Newt's got this. Newt's very got this.

[penitently]

The tail would not let go. Not completely, anyway. Instead, it would be curling and finding its way up Newt's arm, moving to the front of his chest and working on those pesky little buttons. Kurt was aware, this time, of this action, more than okay with them at least getting to where they'd been last time. Shirts off, touching happening, when had wiener schnitzel flavored lips become so tasty?

Much, much faster than usual. Newt gives a light nibble to the other's tongue before his hands move in to help with vest and shirt buttons. Newt was beyond tempted to pull Kurt on top of him--

Wait why not?

Okay, yes, new plan. Pull Kurt on top of him while sinking down to lay on the couch. Made making out so much easier.

[penitently]

He almost rebalanced himself when he felt himself being tugged down, but a moment's thought showed him that it seemed to be intentional on Newt's part, so... Kurt followed along, shifting to settle himself half on top of Newt, legs curled up a little as he felt a shiver of anticipation at what might happen. He had no idea how far they'd go, but he'd resolved himself to being okay with whatever happened.

[herpetology]

Newt finally broke the kiss when they were in their new position, grinning up at him.

"You okay?"

Look, he just didn't want Kurt to poof away again. Not that he'd have anywhere to go but maybe the bedroom or something. Without waiting for an answer, Newt kept going with the shirt to put his hands on Kurt's chest and slide down. Oh.

Oh fuck those scars felt awesome.

[penitently]

Kurt's reply was cut off when Newt's hands moved over him, his tail quickly flicking the rest of Newt's buttons open so he could lay his head down on Newt's bare chest. He could smell the clean scent of male, and he found himself a little surprised that it was merely adding to the experience of it all. The hands on him were such a rarity, touch something he'd always craved, and he brushed his cheek against Newt's chest as he sighed. "I am... wunderbar. Please keep doing that."

Newt laughed breathy sort of chuckle (that was half smug) and let his hands sneak up around to his back and feel the scars there.

"How far do these go?"

And you better believe he'll be asking for proof.

[penitently]

"Ah... all the way?" Pretty much the only parts of him not cut into were his tail, hands, fingers, and... well... certain sensitive areas.

[herpetology]

... He was just joking.

"Seriously? Show me."

Okay yeah he did want to see Kurt out of his clothes for sexy reasons, but he'd settle for a non-sexy reason first. He was also a fan of body mods! And science. Kurt was one hell of a scientific marvel.

[penitently]

"R-really?" That stilled him, not because he was ashamed of what he'd done to himself, but it would be the first time he'd been unclothed fully with others around. He was German. There wasn't too much body shyness between them or Swedes or anyone European, but Kurt wasn't a normal human and he'd spent his entire life being told how very not normal he was. He hadn't truly thought anyone would want to see him as he was.

[herpetology]

"Uh.. yeah?"

Newt did not get it. Yes, Kurt was Fucking Fascinating. He would absolutely admit that he wanted to properly study the guy as a scientist and as a lover. But he couldn't see treating him like that. Not this guy. He was just so... nice. And adorable. Not when there were other mutants out there, anyway.

"Surprisingly, I really want to see you naked. I know, total shocker."
